Returns & Exchanges
While we want you to be delighted every time you shop at Spotty Button and take great care in ensuring that each item arrives with you in exactly the same condition it left us, we can’t guarantee that the same care is always taken by the carrier. That's why we offer a 'no quibbles' returns policy.
Before you request the return of an item, please ensure that you have read through our returns policy.
Returns Policy
Non-Faulty Goods
If you've had a change of heart you must return the item to Spotty Button unused and in its original condition within 7 working days. Each returned product must include all parts, accessories, instructions and packaging etc. Please note that if blister packaging has been opened then the product is no longer in its original condition.
All you pay for is the postage cost of returning the goods. We recommend that you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature on receipt as this insures the package in case it goes missing. The product will remain your responsibility until it has been signed for at the returns address. We do not accept responsibility for produst lost or damaged in the post.
Exceptions
We regret that we cannot accept returns on the following:
- The packaging of any of the individual product components has been unsealed or damaged.
- The non-faulty product does not arrive at Spotty Button in a resaleable condition. In this case, we will not be able to offer you a refund. We will contact you to arrange to send the product back to you and to take payment for the subsequent delivery costs.
Faulty Goods
If the product you have ordered are deemed defective, damaged, faulty or not as ordered, you have 7 working days in which to return it. Parcels or items damaged in transit must be verbally reported to Spotty Button before 3.00pm the next working day following delivery and also by email (info@spottybutton.co.uk) within 3 working days.
When reporting faulty items we may ask you to return the goods. On receipt, Spotty Button will reimburse that costs incurred (please obtain proof of postage so that we reimburse you the full amount). Spotty Button will pay you a reasonable postage amount (equivalent to Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and up to a maximum value of £10) for the return of the product.
Exceptions
We regret that we cannot accept returns on the following:
- If the deadline for reporting and returning parcels damaged during transit is not met, we regret that we will not be able to issue a refund or replacement goods.
Refunds
After receipt of your retruned goods we aim to issue refunds within 14 working days. The cost of your purchase will be refunded to the credit/debit card or PayPal account used to make the purchase. Please note that refunds take 5 working days to clear from the point of processing.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order please contact us on 01327 261560. If your goods have been despatched before cancellation you will be liable for the costs of returning the unwanted items.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Returns Process
- Use the form on the 'contact us' page to tell us why you're returning the item.
- Put your item(s) into a protective box or other suirable protective packaging and post it to the returns address shown below.
